Vintage Framed Hand Painted Makkum Tichelaar Tile Depicting Buildings and Ships

A gorgeous hand painted polychrome Tile made by Makkum Tichelaar.
This producer is known for the unique durable clay used to make the tile as well as the long tradition of the company.
This tile has vibrant colours and a lot of detail.
In the background on the left you see an old hay barn, similar ones can be seen in rural areas of the Netherlands to this day!
In the middle, a church and a house in a small patch of land, almost like a small island on the water. In the background on the right, 3 skutjes ( a type of Dutch ship) can be seen sailing.
This beautiful tile is secured in a sturdy dark wooden frame which has a small hanger to be hung on a wall.  The cardboard back has a small story of the producer and the crest of the producer proving the pieces originality.
This item is in excellent vintage condition with no severe damages. Please keep in mind that this is a preloved item and may have signs of wear.
