Vintage Framed Makkum Tichelaar Polychrome Tile depicting Musketeer

This gorgeous polychrome framed Tile is made by Makkum Tichelaar in the 1970s.
Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum (Royal Tichelaar Makkum, est. 1572) is the oldest company in the Netherlands and has worldwide recognition in ceramics.
This tile depicts a musketeer holding his rifle and wearing a traditional Dutch uniform.
It is framed in a sturdy dark wooden frame and has a card back covering the back of the tile. Though covered, die to the size, style and hand painted polychrome nature of the tile, it is without doubt a genuine Makkum Tichelaar Tile.
This tile is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The colours vibrant as ever! See our photos.
